Appointments
Coastal Pulmonary Medicine, P.A. is open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Sometimes delays occur due to emergencies; if we know your appointment will be affected, we will try to notify you. We also ask that you give 24 hours notice before canceling or rescheduling your appointments when possible.
A doctor is always on call for emergencies after regular office hours, holidays and weekends, and can be reached by calling (910) 343-3345. You will be instructed on how to get a message to the physician on call.

Initial Visit
On your initial visit, please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to allow ample time to complete a questionnaire and patient medical history information.

What To Bring to Your Appointment

  • Your Insurance Card, and a form of personal ID, such as driver’s license
  • Bring in any recent X-rays and CT scans
    (actual film, not reports)
  • A list of current prescriptions or over-the-counter medications you are currently taking
  • Physician referral forms if required by insurance
  • Any information about past surgical and medical histories

Payment Policy
We accept most major insurance plans and are a Medicare provider. Although we provide insurance billing, any amount not covered by insurance will be your sole responsibility to pay. Therefore, we request payment on day of appointment for services not covered by your insurance plan. Your insurance company may also require a co-payment at the time of your scheduled appointment. We accept Mastercard and Visa, as well as personal checks.

The Coastal Pulmonary Medicine physicians hold regular Round Table Discussions to review various patients' histories to offer the best treatment options.
