Jennifer M. Smith, P.A.-C., M.S.P.A.S.

Jennifer joined Coastal Pulmonary Medicine in November 2009 after graduating with honors from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. There she received a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Prior to attending MUSC, she graduated from The University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She went on to work as a nursing assistant at New Hanover Regional Medical Center until she began PA school. Jennifer maintains her national certification as a Physician Assistant by completing continuing medical education in the areas of pulmonary, sleep, and general medicine and taking the recertification exam when required. She is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians Allied Health division and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys reading, shopping and spending time on the beach.
